Capable of making snow, fun to ski, snowboard. For snow tubing, check hours and tickets, waivers on line before you go. Also Check height restriction kids before you go snowtubing. offers Great 4pm group classes. Get there early, tight parking. Pack food/snacks. Food is sold but high prices. Able to rent gear, bring helmet.

Learned to snowboard here over 20 years ago and spent plenty of weekends here as a kid (and still do). It’s a nice place to come for an afternoon for a few hours but it’s not really a mountain, it’s more of a hill. Definitely great for beginners who are learning to ski/ride, but not very exciting for expert snowboarders. Still a fun place to visit. They have a tubing park here but I’ve never tried it so I can’t say how that is. Giving 4 stars cuz they need to get updated lifts. I know it’s a small hill that only operates 3-4 months out of the year, but it’s important to have safe and modern lifts at any ski area no matter how big or small. Staff here is great, especially ski patrol.

Small town ski area with a snow tubing section as well as a water park in the summer = awesome. It is, in my personal opinion, the BEST place to learn to ski or ride. Period.

We’ve visited here a couple times... specifically, the tubing park. It’s fun for both kids and adults, and your admission includes the tube rental. When we went, it was unseasonably warm; almost 50 degrees in February. This meant that the only snow was made by their snow-making machines... it was soft and slushy, but the tubing was still a good time. They have a tow-rope/ski lift to pull you back up the hill each time which was fantastic. There’s a concession stand at the top which sells hot chocolate, coffee, snacks, etc. We’ll go back again, it’s fun.

We love Yawgoo Valley Ski area. Nice for locals wanting to ski and not travel too far. They make snow so makes it easy to hit the slopes.

Love this little place! Yawgoo is amazing for beginner skiers who are looking to either learn the ropes or practice their basics for the season! I personally start off every season here for my warm up! The prices are pretty affordable too!

Started coming here when I learned how to ski and now both my kids are in ski school and love it. You have to know what you’re getting yourself into with the skiing. This is a large hill in South County. Not some mountain in MA or VT with a steep drop. That said, even as an advanced skier, it’s still fun to mess around over here and have a leisurely ski day. The ski school is awesome and really has helped them advance as skiers. The Maxx and upstairs can be a zoo though, at least for winter 2024; on weekends and ski school nights, space is very limited and the whole system for ordering food vs. drinks is a mess. People claim tables for hours on end. They need more staff to handle the operation. One bartender and busser doesn’t cut the mustard on busy days. We have literally given up sometimes and just go elsewhere for some snacks and drinks. Otherwise, great family ski spot!
